One of the many perks of being a member of the taskforce is super awesome amenities, including a magical device that can transmute everyday junk or soda into expensive vintages of wine. One of the many amenities is a magical pet or a companion with considerable powers, Ash has Pikachu, Twilight Sparkle has Spike, and Taskforce members can have a Taskforce Golemhound.

It's a low maintenance pet that never needs feeding and doesn't have "bathroom needs", though if it somehow gets damaged the area of damage won't heal back naturally and the Golemhound requires maintenance or care from someone who knows how to maintain magical equipment and machinery. It also is quite intelligent and has the personality of a retriever dog but with a "basic speech package" for understanding and speaking to it's owner, speech is limited, but each Golemhound can recognize multiple languages but it's speech package is designed for relaying and remembering instructions. It's limbs are reinforced in case combat ever happens to it's master and to lift it's considerable weight. It also knows how to use it's tail as a "emergency flail" to defend it's master in a fight. The Golemhound also has a mouth that can be opened for transporting objects or biting things with in a melee with extreme strength (but when grabbing objects with it's mouth it obviously doesn't use enough force to break the object), it is incapable of eating with this mouth however.

The Taskforce does have magical pets, companions, and things that are alive and have emotions and feelings incase your wondering about things that aren't emotionless constructs.
