Since liked the original screen shot and I owe her for her awesomeness
This is for her.So to add meaning to the shot and all, he's been knocked down, yet again, but he always gets back up. The look of angst on his face, as If he's saying "Is it really worth it." and also expressing how he doesn't really care, It's a job and someone has to do it.
Fell out with his eyes and mouth, I'm not sure about the eyes....
So whey! I am still madly obsessed with The Dark Ace, I was gonna draw Ryuk, some Star wars Ocs or Titch. But I decided to draw the best of the lot ^^

I meant to comment on this a lot earlier (like back when I added it to my favs) but I really love this! I'm such a fan of graphite/pencil greyscale sketches and DA's expression is so amazing. I, unfortunately, am one of those people who loves this show but sucks at drawing in this style. But you are awesome. and this is awesome. That's all I have to say

Awww thanks a lot ^_^ my art teacher always said I was much better at using graphite, charcoal and pencil. I still prefer painting though XD Lool thank you, wanted to make him look peeved, I mean he is always getting owned. Poor guy. Sure you can do it! I bet you can XD

I love how he looks like he's had a rough day and he's drunk at the bar or something; wallowing in self pity, but of course not for long. After a brief hangover and some black coffee he'll be back to his evil cunning self and will make that skybrat pay. *snort*
