The teachers at my school are weird. I wanted to improve my photoshop skills, and figured trying to replicate a reference picture was a good place to start (hence the eagle). I learned a lot trying to make it look realistic (and fuck the bottom of those feathers, gawd!) The main thing that bugges me, is that I didn't spend more time trying to get the facial proportions of the eagle right. But it was just pracice, so hey. Anyway, my teachers didn't see the point of what I was doing, for "why just copy something? Why not make your own art from the start?". Well, duh. Because I know *squat*, and trying to make awesome art while you're just starting out honestly sounds like a bad idea to me! But that's the opininon of most of my teachers. Learning technique, practicing your skill before you try making something awesome on your own? Nah, practice is for pansies! REAL artists don't NEED that stuff! .........

Whew. I'm not really that fond of some of my teachers, heh....

Anywho, sorry 'bout that XD Eagle picture drawn in photoshop for practice, while looking at a reference picture I found on google. Comments and critique would make me happy dapp :3
