Description
Pietro Maximoff and his sister were some of the first mutants recruited by Magneto into the Brotherhood of Mutants. His heavy-handed and ruthless tactics didn't agree with the good-natured twins however, and they eventually left the group and joined the far more heroic Avengers.

Unknown to them at the time was that Magneto was their father. Since discovering this the twins have had a volatile relationship with the mutant terrorist, though they managed to reconcile eventually.

Quicksilver's super speed has made him an asset to both the Avengers and the Brotherhood. His impatience, fiery temper and pride have often been a liability to him however.
