In a moment, all that was left was her purse and cellphone; both of which unceremoniously dropped to the ground once her body finished transforming into a swirl of green mist. A few seconds later, the last traces of her were gone forever; her friend impatiently asking when they would meet. I used the opportunity to confirm where and when the young lady would have made their rendezvous. It wasn't far, and my reward for the side trip was a trio of equally attractive young women that would never see their friend again. They too, were zapped into oblivion one by one; vaporized without a trace as they waited impatiently for a text message from a vanished girl.
