**YAY! My first DD--was excited when I opened up my messages this morning! Thanks for all the kind comments and favs!**Full view is best!
This is a piece of glass from inside a glow stick, placed on top of a CD for reflection. No editing was done, this is just as it was taken.

This daily deviation led me into your gallery. You have really inspired me, I have a decent camera and Im often doing close ups of spiders or small birds from a distance. Now Im getting a whole new range of ideas, thanks to you! But I have to ask....Dont you go absolutely frigstroke bananas over getting the drop just right, and camera shake?
....Or do you just pour the water and set the camera to keep clicking from a set position? If thats a trade secret, you dont have to tell me!

You know, I don't really have a problem with camera shake. With this one I had to use a tripod, but most of my waterdrop shots are done without a tripod and manual focus. It makes things a lot easier for me--a tripod just gets in my way most of the time.
