My BF gave me the idea that Jack was afraid of getting in water cause he had drowned when before he was a guardian, after he had saved his sister from the ice.But not afraid of the water, just not 100% comfortable getting into water.
And I thought of Merida trying to "help" him get over his fear. And this is what came out.
Toothless and Hiccup I wanted in the pic cause they are fun to draw.
I also didn't feel like going over it with pen, so sorry if its a bit light.

Technically if Jack was to get near water, it would just freeze up. If the area he's in isn't too warm, everywhere Jack steps becomes frosted over. But with water, it always freezes.... except maybe if it's boiling water..... '^-^

Um, yes? I've actually managed to balance on those kinds of wires, dead ones that were taken down to be replaced, but still! And I know just from looking that I would probably be a lot heavier then Jack, so if wires could hold me, then they would definitely hold Jack up.

actual his staff is the thing freezing everything not him...so if he got in the water a touched it with his staff then it would freeze other than that their fine

Not true. His staff is just a way to CHANNEL his power. If you look at the scene where Bunny captures Jack, when Jack is on the phone wires you see his FEET and his staff freezing them. And when he was looking through Jamie's bedroom window frost started appearing and yet he didn't tap it with his staff.
And if you were to think about it, if it really was his staff freezing everything, then why was he able to fix his staff when Pitch broke it and apparently breaking his only way to use his powers?
Jack has a nature ability to create frost and snow, his staff just makes it a thousand times better to make, and it also helps him to fly.

and I remember your movie being about taking choice from others and what nearly happened to your mother because of you trying to mind control your mother to get out of a marriage you knew was going to happen and have preparing and raping your mind around the concept for your whole life.

In Jack's defense, his powers mean that any water he comes into contact with freezes, like when he walked on water at the Tooth Fairy's palace. So if he DID get in with them, those three would probably end up as blocks of ice.

ah! thats where most people are confused; jack frosts STAFF is why everything freezes. he was holding when he walked on water at the Tooth Fairy's palace, he was holding it when he froze the water in the fountain, and that is the same reason why pitch thought jack wouldnt be a threat if he broke jacks staff! but i dont mean to kill some peoples imaginations (this stuff is not supposed to be offensive, i just like telling my end of the logic. my logic.) but yeah, id be a little afraid if i had drown (and knew it!) in a different life.

I think the staff is a way for him to challenge his power. I'm pretty sure Pitch would just have taken his staff if it holds Jack's power and I don't think Mannie would give power to a Β staff.
