You are on your way home from school and feel a unsettling feeling creep up your spine. A pause to look around cannot reveal what made you shudder. The sky is clear tonight and the moon is full, giving an eerie glow as you make your way up the street and come to the entrance to the woods. The path is very easy to see as you begin to make your way, when you feel another shudder creep up your back. The air begins to chill and your begin to see your breath as you continue on your way. Silence fills the wood, more than usual. You stop in your tracks and look around again as fog begins to roll in from every direction. The air is freezing. A whisper over your shoulder causes you to spin on the spot. Another whisper several feet in another direction, then another. The fog is thick. Each passing breath just adds to the fog. Fear grips you in place. All of the sudden, a rush of wind trips your footing. You roll over to get up, but when you look up you freeze. There is a shrieking wail as Death glides towards you, scythe aloft. In an instant, the grove is clear, The fog is gone.
