Okay. This is so beautiful. You managed to make him look very soft, while at the same time... not exactly losing a degree of coarseness. Or just... like... a hint of danger. It's very lovely! I especially love the mouth and neck... beautifully done.

I only have photoshop and flash for now *shrugs* well and.... digicel x.X
and if you count maya or 3d max as prgrams (but they're not 'painterly' cause they're 3d stuff *shrug*)

Photoshop is a great coloring program. Flash is a pretty difficult painting program, it's best for gel style coloring.
Yeah, Maya and 3DS MAX are 3D programs so you can't paint in them.
But Photoshop is really good, I use that sometimes too ^__^

Photoshop is difficult sometimes, it's too technical, but still, it makes great paintings if you can use it ^^

That is so beautiful, Anna. He looks so youthful and beautiful, the way I envisioned Xir'ag to be in a more realistic portrait. This is very nicely done, really capturing the spirit of the character, The coloring is very nice and his bright eyes and flowing hair make him even more beautiful.
