Description
What began as a little idea out of my sketchbook developed into a pretty involved and detailed Art Nouveau styled piece for Linda Wells. In fact, it has become a commission for a place in her book!
Darcy sweeps Elizabeth up in his arms and the book she has been reading falls and is forgotten on the floor... and so begins a journey of hardships, troubles, and deep love!
Fanart of a Fan Fiction.
From "Imperative" by Linda Wells
Based on characters from "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen
Oh, and some "Gone with the Wind" reference behind the pose.

Thank you. And thank you for pointing out the feature.
I was out of town for most of the month traveling around visiting family, so I missed the feature entirely when it came out.

OMG, this is GORGEOUS!!!! The cliffs, the flowers, the icicles, the writing on the book -- all wonderfully detailed. THANK YOU for doing this. I know Linda is thrilled and excited about hanging this on her wall.

LOL, a fellow AHA member? I suppose I should not be too surprised to find some on DA ^_-
I am very fond of all the details, I wonder if you noticed some of the others that developed. I made the winter Derbyshire cliffs dusk as another nod to the scene. The Scotland shores seemed like a good dawn and spring scene was needed (dawning the beginning of their marriage after that period of darkness), so what else could I do to tie in that middle panel? Pemberley needed to be the warm joyous colors of a turning autumn afternoon! Pretty good portrayal of the Darcy's journey. And it all starts with a kiss...
