At first I thought shw as gonna split into Bird and Lion sections, like the G1 Transformer Sky Lynx.

Interesting idea. There's a scene in Disney's Hercules that comes to mind, that I could see being pulled off with some Changelings, actually.

As for "Sky Lynx Gilda", there really should be a scene similar to the one in that one Transformers Episode: "Call of the Primitives":
Gilda: Now remember, before you do anything, think, 'Is this what Gilda would do in my position?', and you will not go far wrong.

There's a scene in the movie where Pegasus gets distracted by a pink female pegasus who invites him into a dark room. He willingly follows until surprise surprise, the pink pegasus divides in two and is revealed to be Pain and Panic in disguise.

Ah, that scene. So in that case, it would be a fake Gilda. Maybe have that one go on a rampage, with Pinkie Pie saying that she knew that Gilda was trouble. But a second Gilda shows up and seemingly slices the first one in half, who then is revealed to be two Changelings.
