Hidon is uh.... I can't remember the order in which this Super Mario Bros. Monster Compendium drawing came, but it really doesn't matter. Hidon is one of maybe four or five chests in Super Mario RPG that behave like mimics in other RPGs (you think it's a chest, but it's actually a monster in disguise). They all look exactly alike, besides a pallete swap, but all monsters must be drawn (including variations). Hidon hides in the sunken ship, a few rooms before the boss. I'm never powerful enough to beat him when I get to him, so I usually come back later.

Unlike most of my compendium pics, this one lacks any sort of background, but the large shadow more than makes up for it. Don't look TOO close at this picture, or you might find its one gaping flaw.
