A second happy new year drawing for the Super Mario Bros. Monster Compendium! And this time it's WHOMP!!! Like the Big bob-omb pic, this brings back memories of the first night I had my N64, so I tried my damndest to get it looking right. I think I went slightly overboard with the rock texture, but it adds a dimension it wouldn't have had before, and it helped make the upcoming "King Whomp" picture, even better.For the record, I think King Whomp was the only one called "Whomp" in the original Mario 64. That changed pretty quickly come the first Mario party game, though.

haha yes, the mouth really sells it. I didn't know it was ever called "King" Whomp, but then, I haven't played too many mario party games.

He's only called king whomp in the DS version. It's also a different model too, complete with a crown.
