WHOOO boy.... that was a long stint between drawings! Sorry about that folks, I've been having a rough semester. I had to buy a new pen for my tablet, and lets just say I will NEVER schedule a class for 7:30 in the morning again, let alone 4 times a week like I have now.

ANYWAY, this is Megaleg from Super Mario Galaxy, done for Mario Monsters, as per usual. I probably hold the world record or something for fastest beating of Galaxy with all stars (don't worry, I enjoyed every second of it), but lord knows why I didn't finish this sooner. It was supposed to have been done far sooner, but... well, see above.

For those that don't know, Megaleg is the first Boss you fight for a Grand Star (which can be seen atop his mighty cranium), and was one of the earliest peices of complete glaxy footage we all saw. The tussle you have with him still looks MIGHTEEE impressive, if I do say so myself, even if he did turn out to be a little easier than expected (still fun, though). The same can not be said of all Galaxy Bosses however, especially the daredevil fights with Bouldergeist (who I would have LOVED to have been able to draw for the Compendium) and the mole guy. Oh, and purple coin toy time galaxy totally counts as a boss also.... totally. Damn you Luigi!

This deviation is a first, as it utalizes the combined powers of not just manga studio (for pens) and photoshop (for coloring), but also a brand new program called Artrage, which can replicate painterly effects reeeeel nice! I originalyl intended to do all the colors in the A-rage, but I quickly (well, perhaps not quickly enough) deemed my skills with the program unfit as of this time, so I just settled on making a nice looking background.... complete with glitta paint! Thanks Artrage, now I don't have to get my hands dirty with traitorous REAL glitta paint.... seriously, that stuff gets frikkin EVERYWHERE.
