I had a particularly bad episode of sleep paralysis lately so why not turn it into something, haha. This would be set after the two of them escape. They don't remember anything about what happened to them, but they do have recurring nightmares about being menaced by an strange indistinct figure. But who doesn't right? Also nightmares where you can't move seemed sadly appropriate, considering.
Gaster previously mentioned souls glowing in unison , and handholding showed up a long time ago . When Sans offered to stay with him after the third nightmare, Papyrus said he could handle it by himself and he was fine, but later when Sans crept onto the couch with him while he was half asleep, he didn't shoo him away.
(This is entirely platonic by the way)
Sans is wearing a Duskull hoodie, haha. Papyrus drawn to dark sweaters, they make him feel grown-up for some reason (cough Gaster cough).

it's their fonts isn't it? there's an earlier comic where Gaster is pretending he didn't notice the font they spoke in, just that the smaller spoke lowercase, the taller uppercase, and it shows him having crossed out 'comic sans' and 'papyrus', so its obviously possible for skeletons at least to recognise the fonts they speak in, see? that's how they got their names, they just saw their own fonts
which in itself is rather heartbreaking, because even if they had remembered their time with Gaster this would still have been how they got their names; he only ever called them subject 1 and 2 after all

my lil sister was having a nightmare once but she wouldn't wake up so i just sat there cuddling her for a good 30 minutes until she finally calmed down...

Twitching can just happen sometimes. Once in a while, I'll be juuuust at the point of having fallen asleep, when suddenly my arm or leg will twitch, and it wakes me up! So annoying! XD As long as it doesn't happen too often though, it's normal. (It only happens to me maybe 4 or 5 times a year, in the past couple years).

they are the cutest siblings in the world. if my sister saw that i was talking in my sleep and having a nightmare shed probably push me off my bed to wake me, and tell me to shut up. i just get a warm feeling when im looking at sans and pappy holding hands like that...and cuddling. i feel like im there feeling that affection too ye know?

well, blue is for fear mostly with sans. with papyrus, i think it's very rare for his eyes to glow blue. his is mostly orange or yellow. purple is for fear.
