New headcanon: Pap carries sans for the same reason I would carry books in the halls in highschool. I carried my books everywhere because I felt naked when I wasn't; vulnerable. Sans is half of Paps life, thus he feels vulnerable when there is even a small risk of Sans getting hurt/killed.

I don't totally understand what the hell was going on in that video, but I'm choosing to believe that's what Sans is actually doing every time he takes one of his "shortcuts".

Actually it just has to do with that fact that papyrus has "half holding sans" which is somewhat relevant to the video about half A press. But it would make.... snort... sans if that was what he did to do his shortcuts.....snorting intensifies
