I just realized today that I never put this up here for some reason! Well anyway here's an old Half-Life thing. I wonder if Gordon ever has mixed feelings about the HEV suit, I mean it saves his life and all but that thing never lets him sleep, it's always shooting him up with drugs and such hahaPresumably a gekkoHunter's been throwing Gordon around into walls here.
As an added bonus here's another tiny little HL thing that seemed too small to make its own post but I've always liked it.

Someone tends be or is about to be rekt in one way or another in much of your recent work. Kind of funny really that what got me following you was your "It's a snow poff" the most adorable of all your stuffs. (IMO)

It's true when you play that game of you fall from to high or you get shot up enough it says 'morphine administered', so you basically hear it 24/7, I think that's why he uses the healing gel from the health pack to avoid using the suits morphine

Gordon has been through alot of shit over the years. No wonder he is so emotionally damaged. Hopefully the ( maybe ) upcoming Half-Life 3 will be the final chapter in the series.

To be fair, gordon has only really been through a lot of shit over that week or so from his perspective. From his perspective he went into work as normal, shit broke down, and he had to kill an eldritch monstrosity, was put in stasis, immediately woke up on a train, and was gang pressed into overthrowing a totalitarian regime, and kill another few eldritch monsters.
Gordon has gone through some shit, but it wasn't over years. His entire life and existence before this point has been wiped out in days, and on top of that, the only time he has gotten anything remotely resembling sleep was halfway through halflife one when he was bludgeoned unconscious by soldiers.
It really sucks to be the one free man, it seems.

And in some cases, he may have gotten some killer migraines ( when having a encounter with a Advisor ).

man, it's been a while for since I've seen anything Half Life related that isn't a meme. Nice job! I definitely envisioned Gordon as having a lot of issues, but not very expressive about it

I always think about what happens when he takes the suit off. Like, does he just kinda fall apart? Every broken bone that's being splinted by the suit. Painkillers and medicines keeping him from going into shock. Adrenaline keeping him conscious for days at a time. Suddenly it comes off and he's left there with all the damage and fatigue he received during his adventure. Scary stuff.

Day to day he's fighting alien authority and other alien monstrosities while constantly being injected with painkillers and antidotes from the HEV suit to numb the poisoning, neurotixins and bullets from all the aliens, and is always awake from all the adrenaline from the HEV suit, so yeah...it can be summed up with: Trauma.
