XD I know. It's maybe that she could technically be a different race of Zora. She can in some ways resemble Mikau's body structure when you look at them together. (Majora's Mask) (I do believe Toby Fox has also played Zelda before and had taken an couple inspirations from the franchise.)

OMG! Legit Lizard Alphys is my new headcannon.... like, I wonder if she eats like a lizard, like lots of greens and buggos/whatever high in protein food she likes, or if she has a better sense of smell than she does eyesight, which is why she wears glasses, or how much her tail actually helps her counterbalance her walking... general biology questions that are really interesting to me....
