Just some idle speculation about blasters, haha. He has his normal head here for clarity since I figure that Gaster's blaster would reflect his appearance to an extent, like Sans and Papyrus's do (you remember Papyrus's googly eye blasters right), thus the blaster's eyes right eye would be closed/potentially sealed over. I dunno what he'd name his though, haha.where does one find glasses big enough for a blaster, these are the real mysteries

For Papurus i bet, well if this wasn't handplates, he would have named it not to unlike his own, you know, with great, or amazing, or something like that. However, I would not at all be suprised that, again if this wasn't handplates, he would name it Spaghetti. Likewise, Sans would call it Ketchup or something to do with space.
Gaster, that's hard to say, he might name it something simple or he could have it something scientific. I dont know, maybe an element on the peirodic table or something, or chemicals, you know, something he'd geek out about. Honestly dont know. In an early comment I saw 'Dadster Blaster' and thought that was adorable!

I'd assume sans named his after Gaster, the person who made them and taught them pain and lessons, Papyrus named his The Great Puzzle, and Gaster named his Aster. As a side note, perhaps the only way sans can really get rid of the Inv. frames is by acquiring a true intention to not hurt, but KILL. Anyhow, love the comic as always.

I imagine Gaster named his Craig or something simple xD or some word in another language that's really hard to pronounce.
Sans has his named by Papyrus, probably cuz he's too lazy.

Gaster seems kind to his blaster, but claims it is just a 'tool'. Sans and Paps are tools, too (in a way), so why isn't he kind to them?

Notice that when he's being kind to the blaster (in the top left corner), its eyes are closed. He's kind towards his "tools" when he knows (or at least thinks) that they won't notice it. He does the same here zarla.deviantart.com/art/A-momβ¦

But it's showing the right eye that is always (or almost always) closed, matching Gasters. Also, it's facing him, which may mean that it knows what's going on, and he's touching the blaster. If my guess is correct, even though it's basically made of bone (since it's a skull), the blaster should feel Gasters touch.
Besides, Gaster was just showing pride because Paps and Sans were living and his experiment worked. It's something that happens all the time with people and monsters. It's an emotion that he was feeling at the time.
