The Metroid 2 remake (Samus Returns) is really good! My expectations were not super high coming in but I highly recommend it. Everything about how Samus was portrayed in it was exactly what I wanted.As a fun challenge, I decided to do this using only the five original shades of green from the Gameboy. Well, I used those five colors and an eraser. You have to get pretty creative with your shading at that point, haha.

I recently played through AM2R, the unofficial Metroid 2 remake, and I felt surprisingly strong Feels when I found the Hatchling, knowing what would happen in the future. This picture perfectly captures the surprise and curiosity of that moment. Well done, friend. n_n

I get choked up over musical cues, too, especially if it's a leif motif for one of my fave characters.Β Although, sometimes it's less "choked up" and more "bawling-my-eyes-out-I'm-not-crying-you're-crying".Β
