It's interesting, seeing this... with Sans' hand there. My first thought was that it seemed out of place, at least for Handplates... (Which I only recently read through so it was my first thought) but it made me wonder if part of Sans' antagonism towards W.D. is... in his own way, trying to reach out to him. And, even if it wasn't exactly the intention, it gave a slightly different light to those moments, for me at least.
