Well, this is clearly before the events of the game, and after the electric maze puzzle (I'm pretty sure it there), if you talk to Sans, he'll reveal that Papyrus's "armor" is actually a costume he made a week or so ago.

I'm pretty sure Sans only has 1 hp max, but it's technically canon that your health can drop to a fraction of a point and I doubt the tree had a strong drive to kill. All the ones I ran into seemed pretty friendly, anyway.

i saw a headcannon about chara as the first "resetter" took a crack at him when first meeting him, thinking he was going to attack them, but later on tori apologizing and asgore being "THAT DAD" encouraging it and that's why tori and sans are good friends.

In the normal pacifist runs, Sans is always winking his LEFT eye...... the one that glows.
However, in the genocide run, he only winks with his RIGHT eye...... HE'S KEEPING HIS KILLER EYE ON YOU THE WHOLE TIME

Maybe Sans stabbed his own eye because he couldn't take to wath his friends and brother die and die again and again.
And now I think about it...maybe his right eye is a fake. Only his left is real and that it why only one eye glows.
