FINALLY THE TWO OF THEM MEET as promised at the end of this one . COULD THIS ACTUALLY BE GOING IN ORDER
This is probably the highest level of cute/happy things you're going to get in this for a while so you better enjoy it. Papyrus learned about limb detachment back with Gaster if you recall , which was also where his first hug got rebuffed. Sans rattled his bones at Gaster before to scare him away , but I think bone rattling is a context specific thing for skellies, so here it's a friendly gesture.
People ask this a lot, but Sans is saying "pom", a babyish version of "palm" since they're talking about hands and all. "one no-mal" = "one normal"
You can't see it but Gaster is smiling a little in spite of himself while they're rattling at each other. A BRIEF MOMENT OF WEAKNESS IN THE FACE OF SUCH CUTE these were more common early on, once the experiments got in fullswing he got much better at ignoring these awful "feelings".
This is probably the first and only time they ever glow green down here, poor things.

Oh wow! I never realized just HOW detail-oriented this series was the first time I read it. I had never thought of how Papyrus's speech developed faster than Sans's, and the reasoning was because he actively sought social interaction with Gaster when Sans took stride to protect himself from Gaster. This series (and its creater) are a whole new level brilliant in that small realization I just made. I found more to appreciate about handplates; it is great on so many levels.
