FINALLY THE TWO OF THEM MEET as promised at the end of this one . COULD THIS ACTUALLY BE GOING IN ORDER
This is probably the highest level of cute/happy things you're going to get in this for a while so you better enjoy it. Papyrus learned about limb detachment back with Gaster if you recall , which was also where his first hug got rebuffed. Sans rattled his bones at Gaster before to scare him away , but I think bone rattling is a context specific thing for skellies, so here it's a friendly gesture.
People ask this a lot, but Sans is saying "pom", a babyish version of "palm" since they're talking about hands and all. "one no-mal" = "one normal"
You can't see it but Gaster is smiling a little in spite of himself while they're rattling at each other. A BRIEF MOMENT OF WEAKNESS IN THE FACE OF SUCH CUTE these were more common early on, once the experiments got in fullswing he got much better at ignoring these awful "feelings".
This is probably the first and only time they ever glow green down here, poor things.

This is probably a really dumb question, and I can't remember if I've asked this before xD but how come Gaster sometimes has the 'glowey head' and sometimes had the 'skeleton' head. Is it an artistic choice or a story thing?

Artistic choice. He's supposed to always have the glowey head, but sometimes the author draws him with a normal head, either so we can see his facial expressions or for the hell of it.

you know how sometimes, when you're drawing, and it isn't going quite how you want it but instead of ruining the picture, it makes it better, somehow? not sure if Sans's expression in that panel was made just perfect on accident or on purpose, but either way that's the feeling it gives off, haha
