Spoilers: it does. Another benefit to doing these out of order! I totally referenced the final battle in Earthbound too, score.
This would probably be the first time they've seriously fought about something or raised their voices at each other. They're scared and in pain and aren't really handling this very well. No one is happy with this.
(Gaster isn't handling it very well either, not that he's going to admit it)
If you really want to feel bad, a lot of their conversation still applies if they were talking about you the Player, haha.

There aren't really very many good English onomatopoeias for really deep long gasps, that's what the first GGGHHHH noise is meant to be. Hopefully that came across? Oh well.

Found this comic the other day and I have to say It's really amazing! All your art is. Stay Determined and keep going with it~
It's one of the few on here that have sucked me in and I find the storyline believable. The actions and way characters act is spot on and mix of fluffy moments then heartbreak ones adds a nice balances. All in all I find this to be a 10/10 comic and will cannot wait for the next part~ <3

Usually a deep inhale isn't expressed with an onomatopoeia; it's just narrated with *inhales deeply* or something to that effect. So don't worry about thinking up a good one for that in the future, I say. I don't know why one hasn't been made common, but yeah...

maybe just "oh no" and "for sake of reason" would be more likely known to them? or is there a specific reason they do know the concept/figure of speech?

Well, lots of monsters say "Oh my God!" in the actual game. Alphys in particular says it a bunch of times. And Gaster literally said "Oh for God's sake" in a previous comic. You don't have to be religious/spiritual to use phrases like that, for lots of people it's just a thing you say when you're upset.

This is incredible, really, your best one yet. Amazing job conveying Sans's anger, and Papyrus will forever be the innocent trusting cinnamon roll. Nice touch with his panic attack at the end. I'm on the edge of my seat for the next installment

Technically yes, but it's not canon. There's been many theorys as to how Gaster, a hidden character in Undertale, is connected to the skelebros, and this is Zarla's. Sans and Papyrus are the result of his experiments, made with the bodies of fallen humans and fragments of his soul, which is why he has the wholes in his hands.
