Pffft. This is exactly how I felt playing MGS. Especially the bit with the wolfdogs. I don;t know why, but I thought it'd be a good idea to call Otacon and all I get is "Snake! Don't kill the dogs! Please! :<" -_-; Very helpful, Otacon.

That was game was really fun but they do talk a lot even though Otacon rarely says anything useful. It felt like you were watching 15 minute movie about metal gear. And other stuff about things that you dont care about.
Otacon can either be useful or a machine that talks you to death.

That was one of the things my brother said when he saw me playing "...they talk a lot. I'll never be able to play this game" :'D I only get annoyed with their blabbering when I have to pee and can't cause I don't wanna miss anything OTL But sometimes Otacon...SOME TIMES.

you know what's funny when Otacon talks about Nukes,guns etc.. I actually like listening to him. Because I'm interested in that kind of stuff in real life.

I love how in MGS 3, whenever you save, Para-Medic goes on a five minute tyraid about some stupid move. And then if she mentions James Bond suddenly Major Tom buts in and is like 'OMG JAMESSSSS BONDDDDD'

I remember when I first started playing MGS. X3
My first one was MGS2, and I was absolutely terrified of going anywhere where there where potential enemies. XD;
So I constantly called Otocon to make me feel better... All the time... XD; Every few seconds...
"What do you need, Snake?"
"I JUST WANTED TO HEAR YOUR VOOOOICE. ;3;"

Yes, dear GOD THEY NEVER SHUT UP.
And yet I tend to call them, because I insist on hearing every single bit of dialogue. Nastasha's the worst. Rose doesn't talk that much. Why am I such a perfectionist when it comes to games?
...
On the plus side, it does work to my advantage occasionally. Found some stuff in MGS3 that I didn't find on my first two playthroughs. I'm sure the fact that I got the sniper rifle early would have been very nice had I not planned on getting a Stamina Kill on The End.
And I got to hear some new "OCELOT IS GAY FOR YOU!" comments from Eva, which makes it all worth it.

Yeah, one time I tried playing MGS skipping every cutscene and holding down the triangle button to speed through all the CODEX conversations.
...Finished the game in about 40 minutes.
