Have a nice, happy Fluttershy, who is no way thirsty for blood, only apple juice, under this totally Apple Juice Moon that lights everything in a eerie apple red glow. Apples. Yes.The bulk of my day was spent getting this done, but I was just super excited to finally get the song out! Please check that out, if you're down with some jams. As for the image itself, I had a lot of fun with the lighting. I tend to chill out in Cool Color Central a lot, do going full-on red for everything was a fun change of pace! The cape came out pretty slick, I think, and the eye got a bit of positive attention from the fiancé. It's my first shot at anything Fluttershy, and I didn't use a reference for her specifics here, but I think things came out pretty solid even still. I'd be pretty daft not to try and get some prints of this for Rose City. ;o

Perspective seems a bit off on the head but the shading has nice tones with plenty of detail, and a wonderful background.
I almost never do backgrounds my self, you see I am lazy. ^_^;

Backgrounds are all about setting a scene you feel like you'll enjoy piecing together, and deciding where to nitpick and when to let it go. They're actually really lazy-friendly! Sort of. Impressionism goes a long way!
