That was really good, and what Luna said is so true. Still I think if Rarity did start concentrating on magical combat I think should would be quite powerful, just look at how many things she can levitate, now make those into weapons.

Well to be fair, one has to actually apply to a school before they take you in. Rarity was perfectly content in Ponyville, and it wasn't until she became a Bearer of Harmony that she started getting in fights at all.
