Usually via the raw power of being that anime.
In Psyme's case, I think it's part of the parasite attached to her head that also serves as literally the only thing she or anyone else in her species seems to wear, but dudes wearing the same thing get like full plate mail out of the deal so clearly the parasites are sexist and must be replaced with better parasites that also barely cover the dudes, 'cause ladies need eye candy too god dammit.
