he looks fooled on this photo.
btw i don't think cats just move on like that. when they disappear it usually means no good

yeah, i'm not sure he wanted to move on - just got out and wasn't let back in all night because we didn't know he was out, then ... well... best scenario is that someone decided they liked him, so kept him. worst scenario is that a local fox or coyote or mountain lion got him - our neighbor found sammi's collar broken apart in his yard - probably not a good sign

i'm sorry to hear that. doesn't seem like a good sign, no
also, cats rather don't "move on" i guess. they're quite connected with the owner usually. if they leave themselves that means they are probably sick and want to go in solitude =[
I'm really sorry for you, it's horrible to loose a pet

Samson's a lucky cat, to be living in paradise. I suppose that means there's not a Delilahβ¦

unfortunately, samson got out of the house late one night without us noticing, and never came back. we searched and searched for him, but... he's just gone. so we got the fluffy kitty (in a couple of the other pics) a month later - figuring we don't mind having 2 cats if he DOES somehow show up.

You never know. I had a cat named Frank who showed up one day, stayed for 6 months, then, presumably, moved on to his next meal ticket.
Cats are like that, or maybe that temptress Delilah showed upβ¦

could be. not that he'd be tempted by a female - he'd already had his dangly bits cut off
