Description
Since long ago I knew I wanted a Nerensis character. I did several tests with many birds types (white wagtail, bee eater, herons, falcons,...) for the last two months, but no one seemed to be "that one". Also, to find the design I wanted there were two conditions: 1st no blue (at all!) and 2nd it must be a bird that is actually living in my country too (Spain). I finally found one I enjoy doing. A simple but rather elegant Nerensis Unicorn male based on a black-winged kite ( Elanus Careuleus ). I hope you like him as much as I do ^-^

Name: Elanus
Clan: Nerensis ( N106 )
Traits Used: golden hooves, golden horn, colours based on a bird (black-winged kite en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-wi… ), short oily fur.
Type: MYO slot 2

Personality: Narcissist, boastful, sometimes nasty with others and tends to analyze everything. He can be difficult to treat with but it is in the moments he is attentive when the others realise if they really matter to him. His attitudes are sometimes forgiven due to his intellectual contributions.

Backstory: After some brilliant results on his studies, he was considered some kind of "lazy genius". He likes to contribute to projects and tends to have original ideas, especially when it comes to architecture. His help is appreciated, but the other unicorns started to avoid him due to his narcissist and critical attitude. He likes to be recognised for his contributions in the different projects, but can be very selective to join them (therefore the "lazy" label). He wants to find "The" project, one that he could really dedicate his soul and become immortalised through it. He has heard something about amazing ruins, but that's far away and he is too comfortable living in the clan... for the moment.

Other: He usually swims, so he keeps his fur short to swim better. He has been caught many times staring at his reflection in the water.

Traits Used: deer ears (upwards), winged hips, little socks, clean and airbrush dapples, short fetlocks, nature-related accessories.
Type: MYO slot 1
Personality: calm, easygoing, empathetic, spiritual, honest, taciturn, lonely, forgetful, sometimes pessimistic about relationships.

Back-story: after a happy childhood with her family, she become independant to enjoy nature (as most of the clan). Wandering around she took care of plants, animals and anything she could help with. She is quite spiritual and tends to think about many philosophic things. She looks for feeling the harmony of energy in all living things. She uses to meditate to do so.
