This is the first Smash Bros. trophy I made, he was finished a few months ago. I've been waiting for the lighting setup in my studio to be complete to upload this, but that's been taking too long so I just want to share this already. I'll do a full shoot when I've got all the lights I need. He also has a cape that can be interchanged with the wings, and I need to re-do his shoulder decal, so that will be shown in the pictures I upload in a week or two.

I've had him in the works for a long time now, since he helped me through some learning curves, particularly airbrushing.

This was going to be part of a long series of trophies, but around the time I finished him, Nintendo announced the Amiibo line of figures. They're exactly the same as what I was planning plus they interact with the game ala Skylanders. Soooo that being said, I'm kinda stuck. I absolutely want to continue doing Nintendo characters, but I have to change direction a bit. I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to go about it, but stay tuned to see what I do with this!

Figure is 1/8 scale, sculpted in wax, casted in resin, painted with acrylics, mostly airbrushed.
