Faron is the embodiment of the physical parts of mobians (such as the body). She is the literal representation of a prison. The body acts as a prison to the soul, keeping the soul trapped in the physical realm. All the soul wants to do is escape. That's why over time our body gets weaker as the spirit makes more progress on getting out. Consequently, Faron is always experiencing some form of trauma or pain. Her counterparts Thorne (spirit), and Velkan (mind). Keep her from losing her life before her time. (the balance works like this: The body keeps the spirit from escaping to early, and the mind contained. The mind tells the body how to survive and the spirit to do logical things. The spirit gives the previous two life and personality.)
The whole Triad plotline revolves around their adventure to restore a otherworldly balance in their universe. They (faron, Velkan, and Thorne) must join together or die alone...
