Description

A few minutes later, Dr.Cossack along with the rest of the group arrived and saw that Shademan, along with Heat, Ring and Magicman had been badly injured. Topman was there too and a few mettoools were taking a better look at the damage. Even Quickman was there since he was the first one to get the call.

"Shade, what happened?" The doctor asked.

"I think we may have found...ngh...our suspect." He replied, while one of the mettools nursed his injury.

"If mister bursting bubbles over here didn't hit me, I would've captured him."

The doctor thought for a moment. Kalinka and Emily were worried too and took a quick glance towards Alisa.

"Do you think this guy will attack again?" His daughter asked.

"I'm not sure. But seeing how he was able to injure these robots, I bet that he won't hesitate to come back."

"But why would somebody do something like that?" Emily asked.

"We can find out." Topman interupted. "Fortunately, Ring and Heat over here have fought with the guy, so they got a good look of him." He pulled out a small police notebook and a pen, looking at his two injured friends.

"So tell me, how did he look like?"

"Well, he was a robot and uh, he had this metal, starlike blade on his forhead. His color was...uhh, his arm parts were white, his eyes were orange and for the rest he was Cerulean blue." Ring explained.

"No wait, it was clearly dark blue." Said Heatman. "or was it royal blue? Or international klein blue?"

"He wasn't midnight blue so we'll just go with cerulean ok?" Said Ringman.

As they spoke, Topman knew they were attacked by Shadowman, but he along with the others knew to keep him a mystery so that their witnesses won't know that he's actually helping them.

"Alright. Did you get a good look at his structure?" he asked. But while they were explaining on how he looked like, Cossack sighed and turned towards the robots. Quicikman joined the group standing next to the doctor.

"Don't worry Doc. We'll investigate who's responsible for this mess. " Said Crashman.

"I know you will. I'm just worried he may strike again. Burtsman told me that he was very fast and flexible. And with him being a robot, there's no doubt he'll come back and try to destroy my park."

"What can we do to prevent this?" Kalainka asked.

"We must have extra security. Then again, he might be able to sneak past them."

Then, Quickman stepped forward.

"We'll take care of that Cossack."

"How?"

"I have and idea, but I think it's better that I, along with all the dectives and the company have a discusion about this crises. I assure you, we'll keep an extra eye out on that criminal. But we can't act until some choices are made with the team." He explained.

"I understand. I will wait for your reply when the meeting is over. Until then, I have to create more secrurity."

"Does that mean I can't visit Kalinka for a while?" Emily asked with disapointed eyes. Cossack nodded yes. The robot looked down, sad that even though she saw her best human friend again, she can't do so much anymore now that this happened.

"Don't worry my friend, when everything's ok again, I'll call you as soon as possible." Kalinka assured, making her friend smile, then hugged her.

"Where's Elecman?" Alisa asked.

"Elecman?" Said Cossack, looking confused. Alisa realized that he didn't know her husband might have been involved in this accident. Quickman noticed and made up a lie.

"Yeah, he was here with me as we arrived, but he scouted ahead looking for any traces the suspect might've left behind." He assured.

"But I think he needs our help. You'll need to close the theme park though. Other people might hinder the evidence."

Cossack looked at his daughter than back at Quickman."I will. Thank you for helping me."

"No problem sir."

No one noticed, but Shademan was also thinking of where the detective might have wondered off. He stood up, being supported by Burstman.

"Master, I'd wish to help you escorting the people out of the theme park, but I really need to get repaired until my power generator fails."

"That's alright. If the mettools don't fix you a 100% I'll be happy to fully repair you." He said. The doctor then walked towards the croud with his daughter and Emily. Alisa was worried, but tried not to show it.

"Well, now that we know where Elec is, let's find him." Said Crash.

"I actually don't know where he went." Quickman whispered.

"What? But-"

"Listen, Crash and I will look for him. The last time I saw him he went to the park along with Shadowman. He can't be far away."

"Alright." Alisa sighed. "I'll stay here with the boys. And don't get distracted by the rides."She said.

"We won't. Let's go Crash." The two robots walked away, leaving Alisa behind with the others who were still talking about what happened.

"Any clues yet?" she asked.

"We do know that he fought with marcial arts and shuriken blades. He could be a robot specificly designed for fighting. A jinja styled fighter." Heatman replied.

Alisa looked towards the building next to the entrance and noticed Burstman looking left and right. As if he was hidding something.

"is it alright if I take a look in this building?" She asked Magicman.

"For what reason?"

"As a detective, I know you shouldn't leave any stone unturned. Meaning you have to look at some places you'd think he wouldn't visit." She explained. The robot thought for a moment.

"Alright. But ask the others who are in there first. Or else they might get the wrong idea."

"I will." She replied and closed the door behind her. But, she wasn't about to tell them at all. using her skills of stealth, she silently sneaked passed the bends and walls, looking for the robot she just saw. A noise of walking footsteps became louder and she quickly hid behind a door. It was Burstman who was approaching the nurse room for robots. But Shademan wasn't with him. Alisa peeked as the robot went into the room and listened carefully as she heared loud noises coming from the room. After a few seconds, it stopped and there was nothing to hear. She walked towards the door, softly grabbing the door knot and came inside. Only to see an empty room.

Surprised, she looked around. How could such a big robot have disapeared out of nowhere? There were no other doors, just a book shelf, repair tools, a few drawers, lamps, a frige filled with E-tanks and a few windows. But those were too small for the big robot to escape through. There was only one explination: A secret passage way. She first tried to obvious clichés like: Grabbing a book from the shelf, opening the drawers to find a hidden button, grabbing on of the tools to see if one of them was a lever, but nothing worked. She sighed and began to think. It must be in a place where you don't expect it, she thought. the robot made a lot of noise before misteriously disapearing, so what did he do?

She then leaned her ear against the wall, knocking to hear if the sound became different. She moved to the right and suddenly heard what she was looking for. There was a passage behind the wall next to the bookshelf. She knocked again, this time it was louder and stopped before any one heard it. She knocked again, this time using a great chunk of her strength. And then, it opened. The path headed downwards and the cieling was very low above, with lights illuminating the stairs. She looked back before carefully stepping into the unkown. The door suddenly closed and the sound echoed throughout the tunnel. Alisa sighed softly, knowing she must remain calm even when entering a dangerous place. Her footsteps berly made any sound as she ventured through the hidden path.

Meanwhile, Quick and Crashman investigated the parts where Shadowman might have sneaked through. They went into a building filled with arcade games. There were no peple since Cossack gathered most of the them already. "Ok. I'll go right, you'll go left." Said Quick.

"What are we doing here? Shouldn't we look at the places where Shadowma- I mean...our suspect has been where's he's first spotted?" Crash asked.

"As a detective, you should check every corner. And we agreed with our good friend that we must take a closer look from the INSIDE." he stated, refering to Elecman's order he gave a few days ago. Since they had to look more on the inside of an attraction or building they went into. Crash nodded yes.

"Oh, ok." The two split up, taking a closer look at every corner that was unexplored. "Nothing here, ntohing here, nothing there aaaaand nothing there. Can't imagine why he would invade this place. Then again I guess he wants you to look at the obvious." Crash said to himself. then, he accidentally turned on an arcade machiene which had a game called: Whack-the-sniperjoe. You had to whack a muppet like head that looked like a robot with one eye before it disappeared. Do it as fast as possible or else you'll loose the game. You needed a special hammer in order to play it.

"Oops." Said Crash. "Now how do I turn this thing off?" But without notice, Clownman who sneaked behind him, touched a specific spot on the back of his head. This trigured something that made the robots' responsibility fade a bit and the sweet temptation of playing the game got him.

"Meh....it wouldn't hurt if I test this game a bit." He said. The game started and the robot used his non hands to whack the sniper joes. It was a bit hard though. Sometimes he missed, which caused him to became angry. Enraged almost. Back underground, Alisa was still walking down the stairway.

Then she came in a room with other entrances. She noticed a map next to her and saw the similar structure of what she discovered on the blueprint. Suddenly, Burstman came from one of the entrances and looked around. The female robot was hiding next to the bend of the stairs, hoping he wouldn't hear her.

He then turned right and entered a big door. Bigger than the others. She silently ran towards him, walking just behind the giant robot before the door closed. he didn't hear anything weird as he entered another room. Alisa followed the robot and noticed all kinds of weapons next to her. Ones that were failed prototypes and had a similar resemblence in Cossacks' design.

" And? How's it going with the weapons?" A voice suddenly interupted. Alisa slowly approached the bend where she heard the voice, knowing it was Clownman who was talking.

"he said that once there are more and more robots coming in and take a look at their profiles, he can build much more. Even the weapons that we need are still incomplete. But the result will be satisfying."

"He has to hurry though.Your bombs are pretty impressive, but the explosions could use a little more power. The result must be deadly."

As she listened to their conversation, she peeked and saw tons of metal being used to make weapons. But behind all that, something bigger was being build. It had a small resemblence of an animal. But she couldn't see what it was, since most of the structure was in shadows. But suddenly, a hand grabbed Alisa's neck from behind. She gasped in shock before another hand covered her mouth. She was held against her will by Shademan who knew she would go inside and discover this hidden place. But before she could fight back, his left hand clawed over her head and the robot stopped her resistance. he was now using his powers to erase her memories and put her in a state where she could do nothing. While she began to loose strength in her legs, her pupils shrinked and her eyelits slowly began to close.

"We don't sneak up on others to see what they're doing, dear. it's rude." He whispered with an evil smile.

Meanwhile, Elec was still sneaking behind the buildings and rides, observing the robots as they got on the rides. But he noticed that the people were leaving. With them out of the way, he heard some noise coming from a building he stood nearby. He walked through the entrance only to hear familiar voices.

"Oh come oooon! That was cheap! Playing this game perfectly is imposible!" Crash shouted. Quickman came to the scene, not very angry as Crash expected him to be.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I can't beat this stupid game of stupidity. I have to hit every stupid joe that pops out but as I progress this stupid game becomes even more stupid with the increased speed! And I can't hit them on time because of my stupid non-hands!" He explained.

Quickman stepped forward and wanted to give it a shot. "Let's see how stupid this is then."

And as the first joe appeared, the robot just whacked the things with his hand. But as the speed increased, it was no problem. After all, he was the Quickman. Crash watched in awe as his friend whacked all of the joes with incredible speed. He finished the game and a lot of tickets came out the machiene.

"Whoooooo! Go Quickmaaaaan!" He shouted, clapping with his non-hands.

"Oh please I'm blushing~" He said.

"By the way, what are gonna do with all these tickets?"

"I think I'm gonna give them to-"

"What are you doing here!?"

Elecman interupted. The two robots' happy faces quickly turned to shock as they were busted yet again by playing games instead of doing their job. "Oh, hi Elec." Said Crash, being nervous about his anger.

"Are you two deaf or stupid? Because it seems you have both qualities. Not to mention neither of you didn't bother to let me know you were going back to this place!"

"Hey, hold on a sec." Quickman interupted. "What are you talking about?"

"Your oblivious behaviour?" He growled.

"No. I didn't come here with Crashman to play games, you were going back here again with Shadowman to see why Top, Ring and Heatman were doing here. And you would call me to come over there incase something weird happened." He explained. Elec began to look confused. Not knowing that this memory was erased.

"I- ...I did?"

"Yes, you did. So don't be mad at me ok?"

"But...how did Crash get here?"

"I came here with Alisa, Emily, Dr.Cossack and his daughter when he got a call from one of his robots telling him that a suspect had attacked them and ran away. I even told Shadowman to call the office to let them know why I wasn't going to be there for the afternoon."

This only led to more confusion to the robot as he looked away. A small spark of fear could be seen in his eyes.

"But...how do I not know about this?"

"How do you not....wait, you don't?"

"All I remember is that I was sneaking passed the rides and buildings to observe the many robots that came here. I don't remember Shadowman being with me." He replied, rubbing his head a bit.

Crash and Quick began to look worried. Knowing that he might've had another one of those short-term memory loss again.

"Dude...are you alright?" Crash asked.

"What do you mean?"

Without notice, Shademan was standing near the entrance of the building, listening to their conversation.

"This means you FORGOT why you are HERE. Which also means you got another one of those short term memory loss...things again. I mean, first you forgot about those documents, then you don't know a thing about where that AWFUL smell came from after the ferest wheel accident and now you don't even remember you came here with Shadowman?"

"Atleast I never forget that a detective like you shouldn't say things out loud." He replied, raising his voice a bit at the end of his sentence.

"Ok, despite that, you should see a machienist. This memory loss is getting weird."Said Quickman."Memory loss?" A voice interupted from behind Elec's back.His eyes widened and saw the vampire standing behind him. Normally he behaved calm and suspicious around him. But the strange headaches that popped out of nowhere whenever Shademan came by made him feel nervous whenever the robot was around.

"What were you guys talking about?" He asked politely.

"Elec is having strange short term memory problems and he doesn't know why he was here today." Crash stated. Elec gave a certain look towards his friend, as if saying: will you shut up!?

"Really? Are you alright my friend?"

"I uh I..I'm fine. Although I don't know what's happened here recently." He replied, trying to hide his nervous attitude.

"I see. Is it alright if I gave you a check up in the repair room?" Knowing that the repair room was in the building next to the entrance, he knew this would be the perfect oppertunity to investigate the place.

"I guess so." he replied. The vampire lay his hand on his shoulder while they left the building.

"And don't worry, I'll tell you all about what happened today."

After a few minutes, they arrived at the building with Dr.Cossack, his daughter, Emily and the other detectives standing near the door.

"Master, this friend of mine needs to be checked for malfunctions." He said.

"And who is this fellow?"

"This is Elecman. He told me that he was wondering around the park without even knowing why he was here."

"Oh, that's odd. Shouldn't I check him instead?"

"We'll be fine. I'm sure it's just a small glitch that can easily be fixed."He asured. The robots next to him began to worry about their friend. Topman saw the detective not too long ago and he was just fine. They wondered what happened and so did Emily and Kalinka.

"Get well soon mister Elecman!" Said Kalinka as they went inside.

As the two robots walked through the halls, Elec began to wonder why Cossack was here. Not knowing why the person he'd been searching had suddenly appeared.

"So, how many times did you have this short term memory loss?" He asked.

"I think I had it a couple of times. It is starting to scare me a little since I never forget important or little things in my life. I'm even suffering from a few headaches that come clear out of nowhere and fade away after a few seconds." He explained.

"Hmm. I see what you mean. Before we get a good look at your circuitry, I want to show you something." The robot then opened another door which was dark at first. But as the lights turned on, Elecman saw a room full of documents, paper work and a few noteboards. Two other doors were there too, probably leading to other rooms which looked similar like this one.

"Oh what, you're gonna show me tons of paper work about how innocent you are?" He said while the robot was looking for a specific document.

"Not that. You see, my master has told me many stories about his bussines trips and I've heard quite some...interesting, yet terrifying things."

"Like what?"

as the robot approached him, he skiped the pages in the document to see what he wanted to show him.

"I remember him telling me about some robots he met that other people made. They were still prototypes, ready to do their job any day. But they were out long before they got that chance. But some of them, were suffering from the same malfunctions you're enduring right now. Do you know what happened to them?"

"What happened?" Elec became more suspicious as he looked up to the vampire, knowing something was going to happen. Then, he showed the pages of the documents, only to see the prototype robots, deformed, broken and left on the ground like wasted metal. He let out a short quiet gasp out of shock due to these horrifying images.

"They dropped dead." Said Shademan. "What's worse, is that no one knows why this is and don't let other doctors know about this since they don't want anyone panicing about it. But,there was no virus or misprogramming in any of them. Only 3 of all the 7 robots who encountered this problem did atleast give some purpose after their demise."

"What do you mean?"

"Some of them were designed with cryokinetic abilites, others manipulated wind, fire or were strong enough to crush and throw giant boulders of earth. They malfunctioned so much that they lost their sanity. But the generators which gave them their powers remained untouched. So they used it as, let's say and cooling device, a burner to get rid of the garbige and other simple things."

He explained, putting the document away at the last part of his sentence.

"So...what does that have to do with me?"

"I fear that you may be lucky enough to still have your generator work properly. Or maybe even your whole body that could be used to generate power. If you were to suffer the same fate as these robots, which I'm afraid is going to happen, then I will give you a chance to live forth or, still be used in another way so you won't belong in a robot graveyard. I believe that your generator will give enough power to the whole theme park." He explained as his left hand lay on Elec's right shoulder.

"The theme park?"

"I don't want you to be left alone on the cold hard ground if it happens. With this, people will look up to you as a great hero who still lives on even after his demise. What do you say my friend?"

Shademan seemed very worried this and sadness could clearly be seen in his eyes. A few seconds of silence passed as Elecman looked away, thinking about what he should say. Was he really about to suffer the same threat as those others? Or did he just needed to be checked? But then his worry faded into a serious expression and looked directly into Shademan's eyes.

"Never." He said. The vampire didn't reply right away and seemed to be a bit surprised about his anwser.

"Pardon?"

"I know you're trying something sinister with me again but I won't let-"

"Sinister?" He interupted. "Sinister!?" The robot suddenly seemed angry and his wings moved a bit, trying to contain his rage.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm just an ordinary robot designed to run this theme park!? How many more explinations or evidence do you need!?"

Elec seemed a bit intimidated by his outrage and took a few steps back.

"I, I just think that-"

"Think? A detective must KNOW. And YOU should know that I'm getting tired of your distrust! I tell you about these robots suffering from an unkown threat, giving you a chance to live on in some sort of way. Any other robot would've honored given this chance, but what do I get? Not a simple 'no' or 'I'll think about it' but instead, I get NEVER."

"Shademan, I'm just-"

"NO! You listen to me." He said, putting his right finger underneeth his chin. "What if you're going to act like a heartless jerk towards the ones you love? Will they stay with you? Or see if you're still able to function? I bet they wouldn't." He said, retrieving his finger, scratching Elec's chin while he did so.

"You don't know them like I do!" He stated.

"And I have seem to misjudged you! Didn't anyone ever told you not to insult or distrust people by appearances? Appearently you didn't. Your pride and egotistic nature will soon result in a terrible fate young man."

"I won't suffer the same fate!"

"You will! And all because you didn't listen to me. I want what's best for everyone. That incleudes you! But until we meet again, I hope you'll enjoy wasting away without pleeding for help!"

Then, the robot left through the other door and the lights turned off. Only the lights of the hall illuminated the room a bit. Elecman stood in silence, staring at the door Shademan went through.There was no sound around him as he was a little shocked of what just happened. Did he really care for him and everyone? Was it true what he told him? After a few seconds passed, he suddenly heared a familiar voice behind him.

"Elec?"

he quickly turned around, seeing Alisa standing in the hall.

"Alisa?"

"What are you doing here?" She asked, walking towards him. He looked back at the door, but hesitated to tell her.

"I was looking for evidence. But I didn't find much here."

"I see. We should go. The park is about to close."

As the couple left, Elec couldn't help but think about the heated conversation and the awfull demise that might await him.

She knocked again, this time using a great chunk of her strength. And then, it opened. The path headed downwards and the cieling was very low above, with lights illuminating the stairs. She looked back before carefully stepping into the unkown. The door suddenly closed and the sound echoed throughout the tunnel. Alisa sighed softly, knowing she must remain calm even when entering a dangerous place. Her footsteps berly made any sound as she ventured through the hidden path.

Meanwhile, Quick and Crashman investigated the parts where Shadowman might have sneaked through. They went into a building filled with arcade games. There were no peple since Cossack gathered most of the them already. "Ok. I'll go right, you'll go left." Said Quick.

"What are we doing here? Shouldn't we look at the places where Shadowma- I mean...our suspect has been where's he's first spotted?" Crash asked.

"As a detective, you should check every corner. And we agreed with our good friend that we must take a closer look from the INSIDE." he stated, refering to Elecman's order he gave a few days ago. Since they had to look more on the inside of an attraction or building they went into. Crash nodded yes.

"Oh, ok." The two split up, taking a closer look at every corner that was unexplored. "Nothing here, ntohing here, nothing there aaaaand nothing there. Can't imagine why he would invade this place. Then again I guess he wants you to look at the obvious." Crash said to himself. then, he accidentally turned on an arcade machiene which had a game called: Whack-the-sniperjoe. You had to whack a muppet like head that looked like a robot with one eye before it disappeared. Do it as fast as possible or else you'll loose the game. You needed a special hammer in order to play it.

"Oops." Said Crash. "Now how do I turn this thing off?" But without notice, Clownman who sneaked behind him, touched a specific spot on the back of his head. This trigured something that made the robots' responsibility fade a bit and the sweet temptation of playing the game got him.

"Meh....it wouldn't hurt if I test this game a bit." He said. The game started and the robot used his non hands to whack the sniper joes. It was a bit hard though. Sometimes he missed, which caused him to became angry. Enraged almost. Back underground, Alisa was still walking down the stairway.

Then she came in a room with other entrances. She noticed a map next to her and saw the similar structure of what she discovered on the blueprint. Suddenly, Burstman came from one of the entrances and looked around. The female robot was hiding next to the bend of the stairs, hoping he wouldn't hear her.

He then turned right and entered a big door. Bigger than the others. She silently ran towards him, walking just behind the giant robot before the door closed. he didn't hear anything weird as he entered another room. Alisa followed the robot and noticed all kinds of weapons next to her. Ones that were failed prototypes and had a similar resemblence in Cossacks' design.

" And? How's it going with the weapons?" A voice suddenly interupted. Alisa slowly approached the bend where she heard the voice, knowing it was Clownman who was talking.

"he said that once there are more and more robots coming in and take a look at their profiles, he can build much more. Even the weapons that we need are still incomplete. But the result will be satisfying."

"He has to hurry though.Your bombs are pretty impressive, but the explosions could use a little more power. The result must be deadly."

As she listened to their conversation, she peeked and saw tons of metal being used to make weapons. But behind all that, something bigger was being build. It had a small resemblence of an animal. But she couldn't see what it was, since most of the structure was in shadows. But suddenly, a hand grabbed Alisa's neck from behind. She gasped in shock before another hand covered her mouth. She was held against her will by Shademan who knew she would go inside and discover this hidden place. But before she could fight back, his left hand clawed over her head and the robot stopped her resistance. he was now using his powers to erase her memories and put her in a state where she could do nothing. While she began to loose strength in her legs, her pupils shrinked and her eyelits slowly began to close.

"We don't sneak up on others to see what they're doing, dear. it's rude." He whispered with an evil smile.

Meanwhile, Elec was still sneaking behind the buildings and rides, observing the robots as they got on the rides. But he noticed that the people were leaving. With them out of the way, he heard some noise coming from a building he stood nearby. He walked through the entrance only to hear familiar voices.

"Oh come oooon! That was cheap! Playing this game perfectly is imposible!" Crash shouted. Quickman came to the scene, not very angry as Crash expected him to be.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I can't beat this stupid game of stupidity. I have to hit every stupid joe that pops out but as I progress this stupid game becomes even more stupid with the increased speed! And I can't hit them on time because of my stupid non-hands!" He explained.

Quickman stepped forward and wanted to give it a shot. "Let's see how stupid this is then."

And as the first joe appeared, the robot just whacked the things with his hand. But as the speed increased, it was no problem. After all, he was the Quickman. Crash watched in awe as his friend whacked all of the joes with incredible speed. He finished the game and a lot of tickets came out the machiene.

"Whoooooo! Go Quickmaaaaan!" He shouted, clapping with his non-hands.

"Oh please I'm blushing~" He said.

"By the way, what are gonna do with all these tickets?"

"I think I'm gonna give them to-"

"What are you doing here!?"

Elecman interupted. The two robots' happy faces quickly turned to shock as they were busted yet again by playing games instead of doing their job. "Oh, hi Elec." Said Crash, being nervous about his anger.

"Are you two deaf or stupid? Because it seems you have both qualities. Not to mention neither of you didn't bother to let me know you were going back to this place!"

"Hey, hold on a sec." Quickman interupted. "What are you talking about?"

"Your oblivious behaviour?" He growled.

"No. I didn't come here with Crashman to play games, you were going back here again with Shadowman to see why Top, Ring and Heatman were doing here. And you would call me to come over there incase something weird happened." He explained. Elec began to look confused. Not knowing that this memory was erased.

"I- ...I did?"

"Yes, you did. So don't be mad at me ok?"

"But...how did Crash get here?"

"I came here with Alisa, Emily, Dr.Cossack and his daughter when he got a call from one of his robots telling him that a suspect had attacked them and ran away. I even told Shadowman to call the office to let them know why I wasn't going to be there for the afternoon."

This only led to more confusion to the robot as he looked away. A small spark of fear could be seen in his eyes.

"But...how do I not know about this?"

"How do you not....wait, you don't?"

"All I remember is that I was sneaking passed the rides and buildings to observe the many robots that came here. I don't remember Shadowman being with me." He replied, rubbing his head a bit.

Crash and Quick began to look worried. Knowing that he might've had another one of those short-term memory loss again.

"Dude...are you alright?" Crash asked.

"What do you mean?"

Without notice, Shademan was standing near the entrance of the building, listening to their conversation.

"This means you FORGOT why you are HERE. Which also means you got another one of those short term memory loss...things again. I mean, first you forgot about those documents, then you don't know a thing about where that AWFUL smell came from after the ferest wheel accident and now you don't even remember you came here with Shadowman?"

"Atleast I never forget that a detective like you shouldn't say things out loud." He replied, raising his voice a bit at the end of his sentence.

"Ok, despite that, you should see a machienist. This memory loss is getting weird."Said Quickman."Memory loss?" A voice interupted from behind Elec's back.His eyes widened and saw the vampire standing behind him. Normally he behaved calm and suspicious around him. But the strange headaches that popped out of nowhere whenever Shademan came by made him feel nervous whenever the robot was around.

"What were you guys talking about?" He asked politely.

"Elec is having strange short term memory problems and he doesn't know why he was here today." Crash stated. Elec gave a certain look towards his friend, as if saying: will you shut up!?

"Really? Are you alright my friend?"

"I uh I..I'm fine. Although I don't know what's happened here recently." He replied, trying to hide his nervous attitude.

"I see. Is it alright if I gave you a check up in the repair room?" Knowing that the repair room was in the building next to the entrance, he knew this would be the perfect oppertunity to investigate the place.

"I guess so." he replied. The vampire lay his hand on his shoulder while they left the building.

"And don't worry, I'll tell you all about what happened today."

After a few minutes, they arrived at the building with Dr.Cossack, his daughter, Emily and the other detectives standing near the door.

"Master, this friend of mine needs to be checked for malfunctions." He said.

"And who is this fellow?"

"This is Elecman. He told me that he was wondering around the park without even knowing why he was here."

"Oh, that's odd. Shouldn't I check him instead?"

"We'll be fine. I'm sure it's just a small glitch that can easily be fixed."He asured. The robots next to him began to worry about their friend. Topman saw the detective not too long ago and he was just fine. They wondered what happened and so did Emily and Kalinka.

"Get well soon mister Elecman!" Said Kalinka as they went inside.

As the two robots walked through the halls, Elec began to wonder why Cossack was here. Not knowing why the person he'd been searching had suddenly appeared.

"So, how many times did you have this short term memory loss?" He asked.

"I think I had it a couple of times. It is starting to scare me a little since I never forget important or little things in my life. I'm even suffering from a few headaches that come clear out of nowhere and fade away after a few seconds." He explained.

"Hmm. I see what you mean. Before we get a good look at your circuitry, I want to show you something." The robot then opened another door which was dark at first. But as the lights turned on, Elecman saw a room full of documents, paper work and a few noteboards. Two other doors were there too, probably leading to other rooms which looked similar like this one.

"Oh what, you're gonna show me tons of paper work about how innocent you are?" He said while the robot was looking for a specific document.

"Not that. You see, my master has told me many stories about his bussines trips and I've heard quite some...interesting, yet terrifying things."

"Like what?"

as the robot approached him, he skiped the pages in the document to see what he wanted to show him.

"I remember him telling me about some robots he met that other people made. They were still prototypes, ready to do their job any day. But they were out long before they got that chance. But some of them, were suffering from the same malfunctions you're enduring right now. Do you know what happened to them?"

"What happened?" Elec became more suspicious as he looked up to the vampire, knowing something was going to happen. Then, he showed the pages of the documents, only to see the prototype robots, deformed, broken and left on the ground like wasted metal. He let out a short quiet gasp out of shock due to these horrifying images.

"They dropped dead." Said Shademan. "What's worse, is that no one knows why this is and don't let other doctors know about this since they don't want anyone panicing about it. But,there was no virus or misprogramming in any of them. Only 3 of all the 7 robots who encountered this problem did atleast give some purpose after their demise."

"What do you mean?"

"Some of them were designed with cryokinetic abilites, others manipulated wind, fire or were strong enough to crush and throw giant boulders of earth. They malfunctioned so much that they lost their sanity. But the generators which gave them their powers remained untouched. So they used it as, let's say and cooling device, a burner to get rid of the garbige and other simple things."

He explained, putting the document away at the last part of his sentence.

"So...what does that have to do with me?"

"I fear that you may be lucky enough to still have your generator work properly. Or maybe even your whole body that could be used to generate power. If you were to suffer the same fate as these robots, which I'm afraid is going to happen, then I will give you a chance to live forth or, still be used in another way so you won't belong in a robot graveyard. I believe that your generator will give enough power to the whole theme park." He explained as his left hand lay on Elec's right shoulder.

"The theme park?"

"I don't want you to be left alone on the cold hard ground if it happens. With this, people will look up to you as a great hero who still lives on even after his demise. What do you say my friend?"

Shademan seemed very worried this and sadness could clearly be seen in his eyes. A few seconds of silence passed as Elecman looked away, thinking about what he should say. Was he really about to suffer the same threat as those others? Or did he just needed to be checked? But then his worry faded into a serious expression and looked directly into Shademan's eyes.

"Never." He said. The vampire didn't reply right away and seemed to be a bit surprised about his anwser.

"Pardon?"

"I know you're trying something sinister with me again but I won't let-"

"Sinister?" He interupted. "Sinister!?" The robot suddenly seemed angry and his wings moved a bit, trying to contain his rage.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm just an ordinary robot designed to run this theme park!? How many more explinations or evidence do you need!?"

Elec seemed a bit intimidated by his outrage and took a few steps back.

"I, I just think that-"

"Think? A detective must KNOW. And YOU should know that I'm getting tired of your distrust! I tell you about these robots suffering from an unkown threat, giving you a chance to live on in some sort of way. Any other robot would've honored given this chance, but what do I get? Not a simple 'no' or 'I'll think about it' but instead, I get NEVER."

"Shademan, I'm just-"

"NO! You listen to me." He said, putting his right finger underneeth his chin. "What if you're going to act like a heartless jerk towards the ones you love? Will they stay with you? Or see if you're still able to function? I bet they wouldn't." He said, retrieving his finger, scratching Elec's chin while he did so.

"You don't know them like I do!" He stated.

"And I have seem to misjudged you! Didn't anyone ever told you not to insult or distrust people by appearances? Appearently you didn't. Your pride and egotistic nature will soon result in a terrible fate young man."

"I won't suffer the same fate!"

"You will! And all because you didn't listen to me. I want what's best for everyone. That incleudes you! But until we meet again, I hope you'll enjoy wasting away without pleeding for help!"

Then, the robot left through the other door and the lights turned off. Only the lights of the hall illuminated the room a bit. Elecman stood in silence, staring at the door Shademan went through.There was no sound around him as he was a little shocked of what just happened. Did he really care for him and everyone? Was it true what he told him? After a few seconds passed, he suddenly heared a familiar voice behind him.

"Elec?"

he quickly turned around, seeing Alisa standing in the hall.

"Alisa?"

"What are you doing here?" She asked, walking towards him. He looked back at the door, but hesitated to tell her.

"I was looking for evidence. But I didn't find much here."

"I see. We should go. The park is about to close."

As the couple left, Elec couldn't help but think about the heated conversation and the awfull demise that might await him.
