Description a 100% scanned image. i placed some kind of a jelly on top of the scanner, and rotated a cd on it.
so the cd is rotating and im scaning the rotation, the motion creates distortions and the light reflected from the scanner hit the cd and created those colorful spectrum refraction colors
this is what experimental is all about
comments and grades are more then welcome (can this level of experiment be graded?)

very nice technique! love how it came out.. if you wouldn't of told me what it was, i'd still be confused about it

Oooo trippy. Like a lavalamp on acid, this rainbow colored piece is really cool to just stare at. I like it! Maybe try putting it on a different colored background, like dark blue/green or something?

yeah xhaos, this wasnt supposed to look good, i just wanted to do the experimentation nad see the outcome, i believe that this technique was never used before. next step will be trying to do something out of it, not just a colour blur

this is by far the most original submission i have ever seen. i applaud you for thinking outside the confines of 'normal' art.

it would be extremely impressive if you could make a recognisable image with this method (not accidentally)

yeah, nice stuff!

I think its appeal lies a bit more in the method than in the overall outcome, but nonetheless, I really like it.
Keep experimenting.
