If you are someone who is especially interested in Ari and like the #aesthetic manifestation of his mental health issues, I would ask that you take a look at this post on my oc blog.

That being said, this comic is kind of esoteric and mostly related to a bunch of Ari stuff that I haven't really spoken about in depth on any social media platform. Here is the necessary context: he has a habit of abusing pharmaceuticals that is spiraling into a problem. He has issues with disassociation and unstable sense of self. He's kind of obsessed with romantic and glamorous ideals of self destruction and like... the profundity of existential surrender?? Sorry I can't think of a way to talk about this that isn't kind of pretentious bc that is how HE thinks about it... it is really just another way for him to allow for the continued delusion that his mental illness is this romantic, spiritual thing!! I think he really likes Lana Del Rey and Julia Kristeva.
