But he can turn on you just that quick. He's really a cold-blooded character and excellent leader of the croc gang. He keeps a tooth from every croc he's ever fought and beaten. Sometimes he'll do the dirty work himself, and sometimes he has his float handle it.
This was a cool filter I found on FireAlpaca that suited the mood very well. I admit, I was humming Disney's "Never Smile at a Crocodile" while I drew this.

Scarface’s toothy smile dropped into an answering growl, red flashing in his eyes. His back rose, huffing in suppressed rage as his fists clenched. “What. Did. You. Say?” His voice deepened as his tail thumped the boards.
Jackie Nose angled up, slinking beside his seething boss. “Who do you think you are? A one-man-army?” He jeered.
“Oh you think you’re tough ‘cause you got friends?” Pinstripe grinned. “Meet onna mine. Say hello to Komodo Joe.”
Joe, recognizing his cue, stepped to Pinstripe’s right side, sword drawn. The crocs looked from Pinstripe’s smug face up and up to Joe’s grim one.
“Kill them.” Scarface snapped. He plodded steadily backwards as crocs surged past him on either side, his toothy grin widening as he watched Pinstripe and Joe quickly become crowded against the far end of the dock. Passengers retreated further up the gangplank, watching in breathless horror as the crocs ambled lazily towards their prey.
