I don't get why people give Dinosaur Revolution so many crap for being so light hearted and almost comical. I mean, why do every dino documentary has to be just "survival of the fittest" or "eat or get eaten"? Why can't there be a bit of humour here and there?

You know, here's my analogy:
I like to compare dino documentaries to Batman movies.
Walking With Dinosaurs would be The Dark Knight, When Dinosaurs Roamed America would be Batman Returns, Monsters Resurrected would be Batman vs Superman and Dinosaur Revolution would be Lego Batman.
Why?
Because DR proves (at least to me) that you can have a silly yet enjoyable time with a source material that's originally supposed to be dark and ruthless.
Besides, the animation is good, the designs of the creatures are very colorful and original, the stories are interesting enough to keep me invested and there were some scenes i got some legit laughs.

Stumpy and Dinosaur Revolution belong to Discovery.
