Description
Many years ago, Uther slept with Lady Vivienne who was lonely due to Gorlois' absense and still grieving the mysterious loss of her baby daughter Morgause.The result was twins.
In hopes that Ygraine would produce an heir, Uther had the son sent away but let Vivienne keep the daughter.
Two years later Ygraine had a son. Ygraine also died.
Nimueh furiously told Uther that Ygraine's death was Uther's fault- had he been content with the son Vivienne provided him then Ygraine would still be alive.
Twenty-one years later, the son stumbles back into Camelot and is by fate appointed his younger brother's manservant.
My AU that I'm working on where Morgana has a twin brother, Merlin but neither of them know it. Uther gets really paranoid despite Gaius' reassurances that Merlin is not the lost Pendragon heir (he is, Gaius is lying).
I'm quite proud of it, in particular my editting of Morgana and Merlin's eyes to make them look slightly more like twins since Katie has green eyes.
