I would make stuff like that a bit more obvious. Your sex appeal is too distracting to notice that with out being told so. (hows that for feedback??)

yeah... i couldn't show the chess-board in too much detail because all the pieces are all in starting place... i coulnd't find them individual and didn't have the time to make them all... but seeing as there's two people actually looking for a reason, i'm glad to know there's an intelectual side to my watchers

if i had more room, i'd make a whole backstory where this is an adopted princess to the real Queen... the Alien having finally made their piece with humanity to protect them in exchange for a less terminal breeding stock... as a result, only the chosen few are allowed to breed to ensure stong, moral warriors... the princess being healthy, kind and... lest i say it... not very good at chess haha
the face-huggers survive the mating, meaning less eggs are laid by the queen, but each holds a title of office... this also allows for the warriors to learn the basics of english language while protecting their humans... some other species are bred from time to time to suit purposes, capable of reaching maturity in a day... the only true threat is other nations attempting attack but since an army can be born the next day, there's a pretty strong detterent...
that, or she found it and likes aliens?

shorter are easier, longer are better for story and for seeing what happens... but i'll be honest, you can be cheeky and pow-wow with me about my writing and make an illustrated story kind of comic? it's something i've wondered about... the cost of the words though :S
