I was really surprised with something when I finished this piece - because I looked at my original sketch and noticed, basically, how bad it was. And then immediately after I drew this, which in my opinion, is yonks better. Strange how two drawings done one after the other can seem years apart is skill.Anyway, I rarely draw winged people, so this was really fun.

I'm glad you had a good time, because the piece turned out great. I think the coloring in particular is very well done--the competing light sources add nice color to the base outfit, and the iridescence of the wings is nice. It's a well framed and dynamic pose, too.
