Super cute. I love how you incorporated a tiger's design with the same sort of geometric diamond shapes we've seen with Peridot.
Sidenote: how cool would it be if the gem was rotated with the slits vertical, with a prominent dark slit to make it look like a literal tiger's eye as well? I know very little about character design, but just a thought.

oo that's a good idea. i just went with a 45 degree angle cause that felt naturally appealing but that seems a lot more practical

I actually first confused tiger's eye with cat's eye (but apparently that's nearly the same stuff as alexandrite, according to wikipedia), so I was confused at the gem design for a few seconds
But yeah just a thought. Love the design.
