Hiya!
I'm writing and illustrating a novel about the battle of Cannae, between Hannibal of Carthage and the Romans, and in one scene Hannibal's horse goes down as it is hit by a spear. The angle and pose here are fantastic. I would like to use this one as a rough pose guide. It wouldn't look much like the photo. (I could understand it if you said no - it's really hard to find photographers who'll let me "kill off" their horses artistically). Please let me know what you think.

That would be fine with me. I'm huge into history and I love your art. I'm not too worried about copyright or anything. I'm sorry but I had to laugh at that! I do know some stock people have "no gore" but if it's only fake gore, I do not care. As long as no one was harmed/hurt I'm fine with whatever. I would love to see the results, I don't normally say this too much but I do like your work. Just let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks.
