Hiya!
I'm writing and illustrating a novel about the battle of Cannae, between Hannibal of Carthage and the Romans, and in one scene Hannibal's horse goes down as it is hit by a spear. The angle and pose here are fantastic. I would like to use this one as a rough pose guide. It wouldn't look much like the photo. (I could understand it if you said no - it's really hard to find photographers who'll let me "kill off" their horses artistically).

That would be fine with me. I'm huge into history and I love your art. I'm not too worried about copyright or anything. I'm sorry but I had to laugh at that! I do know some stock people have "no gore" but if it's only fake gore, I do not care. As long as no one was harmed/hurt I'm fine with whatever. I would love to see the results, I don't normally say this too much but I do like your work. Just let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks.
