Description
Here is a WIP image of my newest OC, Esmeralda!She is always accompanied by two spirits, Yami and Oni.
The reason they follow her?
She doesn't exactly know, though she thinks it's because of the mark on her right eye.
She was marked at a very young age, so young that she doesn't even remember a time with out her ghostly followers.
She has been plagued with blackouts all of her life, moments in which she can't recall what she did in that time.
Thous that have come to actually know her speculate that either she has been getting repetitively possessed all her life, or that it's caused by the mark itself.
The two spirits that follow her, closely resemble beings of pure chaos.
They are always changing forms, their movements are sporadic and un-predictable.
They only speak to Esmeralda, through whispers.
They guide her through a lot of moments, though she sometimes commands the two also.
All this that has happened to Esmeralda has caused her personality to be stuck to that of a very young and playful filly.
She always likes to play games, whether others play it or not.
She does have her serious moments but...
Her tantrums... They are a force to be reckoned with...

*Afterwards she hugged Flare and giggled lightly.*
See? She has the mindset of a filly and so she's very energetic for a mare, remind you of somepony?
Though she does have Yami and Oni to keep her in check sometimes.

Oni = Demon
They are not demons, nor malefic spirits.
Just two, possibly twins when they were alive, spirits that follow Esmeralda around.

Yea I've had that moment when you actually remember a few things.
I've watched japanese anime for a while, I know a handful of words but sadly it's been slipping away form me since I haven't been watching much lately.

I really like how people are ending up liking my WIP images so much, though it does bring the fear of disappointing somepony if the full image doesn't hold its own. D:

*The spirits zoomed passed her and swarmed to Flik, stopping when he complimented her slightly.*
Esmeralda: Yay~ *Hugs Flik tightly.*

Esmeralda: *Giggles* Glad you do then! Hey I'm Esmeralda nice to meet ya!
*She tilts her head sideways slightly and grins at KandyKorn.*
*Having the two spirits set themselves to the side of Esmeralda, twitching and jolting violently.*

I really like the color choices and her right eye. Very interesting design.

*The spirit to Esmeralda's right hoof side tilted its head 180 degrees, having it be upside-down now.*
*The one to her left jolted and zoomed around KandyKorn, then returned to Esmeralda and started to whisper into her ear.*
Esmeralda: *Giggles* Alright, alright guys.~ I'll introduce you two to her!
*She smiled brightly and walked up to KandyKorn's side and sat down, grinning heavily afterwards.*
Esmeralda: Ok now~ *Points to the first spirit that had his head upside-down.* That's Oni, he likes to do that a lot... Never tells me why though... Anyways~ He is the more quiet one out of the two, though what he ends up saying... Well...
*She tilts her head and looks up at the sky.*
Esmeralda: Actually... I remember him talking to me but, I never remember what he says to me... Weird huh? *Giggles*
*She gets up and trots off to a seemingly random spot.*
*All of a sudden the other spirit started to twitch and jolt around violently, ending up 'resting' next to where Esmeralda was.*
Esmeralda: You know... At first I thought their movements were random, but I can see how they move now. *Shrugs* I guess it comes from being with them for so long. Anyways~
*She wraps her hooves around this spirit's neck and give him a kiss on the cheek, causing it to blush noticeably.*
Esmeralda: This one calls himself Yami, *Pants Yami's head.* He's the more talkative one out of the two. He's helped me out in a lot of situations that I've been through in my life... Well... I owe both of these two my life actually...
*A look of sadness came over her face for just a split second, before she shook it off and trotted back over to KandyKorn.*
Esmeralda: I think I introduced everypony~ Now then~ *Hugs* KandyKorn I love your mane! How did you even get it to be like that? *Squees and hugs KandyKorn more.*

(I want Esmeralda to be a very hyper, filly minded, mare.
... Also she's a huger, at least towards small things.
Hmmm... Will have to see exactly what height I'll want her to be.
I know she is a very young mare still...
Soo.... Slightly smaller then the mane six?
I'm still working on her look as I complete the image more and more, I'm currently 'cleaning' up most of my WIP images I was building up.
Releasing them when I feel they're show worthy.
Although... I think I will have to re-install my Inkscape....
That blur bug / glitch leaves and comes back a lot...

Esmeralda: Hmmmm~ I don't think I was born with my mane exactly like this.
*She grabs a strand of her mane and pulls it out, this piece was from the spot that was discolored.*
*After a few seconds the piece of mane's color faded and turned back to to its normal color.*
Esmeralda: See? I think the mark is doing this to my mane, but I like it! Makes me more unique, just like yours does too! *Giggles*

Yeah, KandyKorn is the size of a cutie mark crusader. She actually got her CM only a short while ago.

Esmeralda: *Nuzzles KandyKorn, adoring her cuteness.* Well... I got it when I was really young. *Giggles* These two were there when I got it. Actually... I was first able to hear and see them after I got this mark. Huh...
*She looked over at Oni, who was flying around them for a bit.*
Esmeralda: They don't want to tell me how I got it though, they keep saying that it's a secret.
*She gains a grin on her face.*
Esmeralda: I tell ya, it's been a very fun ride with them! Though, it's mostly a blur oddly enough. Ehhh.. *Shrugs* Eventually I'll remember. So~ Tell me about yourself Kandy.~

KandyKorn. Sounds so mysterious!
About myself? Hmmm....... Have you ever tried face painting? Or a costume? Well that's what I do alot on my spare time. I try to think up new awesome costumes for the next Halloweens because I never wear the same costume twice.
*tries to think of something else to say* I also hang out with my friends alot! They're pretty cool. Splotch, he's a painter artist guy thing, and one time he actually made a picture of me! He let me keep it, he's that nice. Oh, and there's Jack. I think she's a little crazy sometimes, but she's a whole lotta fun to be with. You never can geuss what she might do next, or at least I can't. And Cotton! She knows all sorts of little spells and tricks. She even knows one that changes a pony's appearance. I plan on using that this Halloween.
Hmmmm....give me a second, I know I'm missing someone.....
Well I'm probably boring you with talking about everyone I know anyways.

Esmeralda: Boy you sure know a lot of ponies. *Giggles*
*She stood up and started doing a small, ballet-styled, dance.*
*The two spirits zoomed around and started taking on the apperance of different pieces of clouthing, setting themselves on top of Esmeralda.*
*Making her appear to be wearing a glowing ballet ensemble, then a long flowing dress, then just going to differently themed clothing.*
*The clothing kept changing again and again as she kept on, to now starting to wear costumes and even having one of the two spirits become a prop for her to use.*
Esmeralda: *She would be saying this while all the above happened.* I've heard so much about Halloween! From dancing at parties to dressing up as what ever you want. Even getting free candy and sweets! *Giggles* I've always wanted to celebrate it but no pony ever wanted to even stay close to me. I don't know why though, I'm very friendly and care free!
*She gained a light grin and held onto KandyKorn as she started to twirl around.*
Esmeralda: Maybe this Halloween I can spend it with you? *Giggles*

Yesa, several of my OCs do. KandyKorn figured it out by mistake; no one wanted her to know becasue they feared she would slip it out in conversation. Like she did with Azrael. :3

Esmeralda: I wonder what I should dress as!
*Yami was shape shifting into different clothing as Esmeralda spoke, Oni changed into the prob that costume would use.*
Esmeralda: Maybe a pirate? A half eaten zombie? Maybe an Alien? Or a vamp pony! No... I got it! Maybe a DJ like Vinyl!
*With that last one, Yami turned into the spin table and head set, while Oni turned into two huge sub-woofers on each side.*
*Actual music started playing from the speakers, it was a mix of Electro and Dubstep.* ( X'DDDD )

I love Esmeralda... She's so full of energy and her two spirits make her even more unique from my other OCs. X3
Plus... I have another image I now want to draw... DJ Essy will be made at some point too!

*Esmeralda tilted her head to the side and looked as to the sky as thoughts started coming along.*
Esmeralda: Well... Let's see... I was a very young filly when I first saw them, but it wasn't like now that I can see them at all times.
*She sat down as her thoughts pulled her in.*
Esmeralda: I was with my Mom and Dad at the time, don't remember much about them sadly. Uhh... I used to see them every once in a while, like in the corner of my eye type of deal you know how that is.
*Yami and Oni demonstrated it by actually going in and out of visibility, never staying in full sight of KandyKorn.*
Esmeralda: They always brought me things every once in awhile too now that I think about it, small toys and stuff like that. It always just appeared on my bed every once in awhile, *Giggles* Drove my parents crazy because they had no idea how the toys ended up in my room.
*Yami and Oni demonstrated once again, transforming into small toys from a miniature dollhouse to dolls and action figures and even toy cars.*
*Esmeralda's face became scrunched up a bit as the next wave of thoughts came around.*
Esmeralda: Ummm... Next it was that they started playing with me in the park or right in the house. Mom and Dad always thought I had imaginary friends, goes to show them huh?
*She concentrated very hard, trying to remember more.*
Esmeralda: Every day they started becoming more and more visible to the point that I could make out where they are partially at all times, little flicker of lights and the like. I tell ya it made playing Hide and Go Seek A LOT easier. *She giggled heavily once she finished saying that.*
*She once again went into concentration, but her face turned into a very calm one for awhile, not moving nor speaking in the slightest.*
*Her breath started quickening, harder and harder it got until it seemed like she was having problems breathing.*
*She had an intense wave of goosebumps crawl through her body.*
*Causing her to shiver violently and she opened her eyes quickly and widely, letting out a struggled gasp as she came to.*

*They both had a very saddened look, like they knew why she was like that but did not want to tell her.*
