Believe in me, it's not just yours. I never liked her, actually, it's just something I can not explain, you know? Well, it's been a long time since I've been looking for someone who understands this side of me and, believe me, it's not just your photos (which, by the way, are very beautiful, congratulations) that I comment on. But I'm really sorry if I caused any discomfort or offense. Believe me, it has NOTHING to do with YOUR Metis. It has to do with ALL (her versions) ... Once again, I'm sorry...

My comic with Metis was done before 2013. Maybe you didn't get to read it? It's totally fine if you read it and don't like my character Metis, but it's rather unfair to keep saying you don't like this character simply because of the impression you had from classic mythology.  I'm not painting THE Metis from Greek mythology.  This is my own Metis. MYth comic characters are pretty much all different from the classic ones.  You can even say they just happen to have the same names XD  No need to apologize. I got people hating on my Zeus and Hera just because they hated the ones from classic mythology. The impression from that was too strong I guess 8D

Well, I remember that at that time, a friend of mine had started reading uour stories and recommended me (I do not know if you ever ran into any comments from her, but she does some videos with your comics). I remember that I fell in love with your trait and your stories, which, by the way, are very good, my congratulations (!!), I really am a big fan of your work, please don't get me wrong, it was because of your comic that I came to like more of some characters in Greek mythology (like Hades, Ares and Zeus, for example). I also confess that I loved the design of your Metis and even tried to like her (believe me, I tried anyway), after all, she was very sweet and charismatic, but I just could not. I have a strange relationship with her, you know? I hate the classic Metis, but in relation to your's, I have a little affection. I know it's very strange, but I'm trying to like it and I think I'll get it someday, I hope you understand that I did not mean it, I just wanted to find someone who could understand my side of the story, you know?
Anyway, I really apologize for the inconvenience, at no point did I want you to feel that I didn't dislike your work, which by chance, is perfect(!). I just wanted to find someone I could learn to love Metis with, you know?
Really sorry, I hope you can forgive me and that everything is fine with us!!

I see. Your dislike toward 'the Metis' is not strange at all. Everyone has their likes and dislikes~
but when you repeat the same comment under every single one of my Metis artwork I naturally assume your comment was aimed at the character I designed in particular.  
If you'd like to find someone who feels the same regarding 'the Metis' in mythology I suggest posting in classic Greek mythology related forums and website. (I don't visit any but I'm sure they exist)
It's probably more effective that way because, unlike my DA gallery visitors, those forum/ mythology site visitors would be people into mythology only.

Dude, I totally understand you. I also never liked her (Metis) either. I've tried to like her, but I've never been able to. I never knew why...

Probably because you feel bad for Hera, but even then Metis didn't do anything wrong. It's technically Zeus's fault for not being able to get over her death and move on, and instead becoming cheating husband.

Yeah, I know. Hated that part of Zeus. I kind of don't like how everything went bad for Metis just because she loved someone that was never meant for her. Kind of why I don't like her I guess. Give up almost everything and for what?
