Your (e/c) eyes shot open and you looked up at the wood of your bunk bed, all of the other girls were asleep and it was roughly 3 in the morning. You sighed and rolled onto your side and looked at the wall.
You had that dream again.
For some reason you always had this disturbing nightmare. It would start with you outside the walls in a field full of lilies with Eren and the gang, then out of nowhere titans would swarm around you and kill them all one by one, Eren's waist down would disappear, Mikasa would be decapitated, and Armin would simply be eaten. You shut your eyes and tried to block out the cries and screams of the friends you failed to protect, a tear fell from your eye and you let out a silent sob; at least you thought it was silent. Blankets shifted from the bed above you and the creaks of the ladder stopped your somewhat silent crying, you rolled over and looked at Mikasa.
“(name)? What's wrong?” She asked. You quickly wiped your tears away and hesitated.
“It's...something stupid,” You muttered. Mikasa sat beside you and put a hand on your shoulder and gave her 'I'm-not-leaving-you-alone-until-you-tell-me” look. You sighed.
“It was just a nightmare,” You answered. Mikasa looked at you sympathetically and without warning you hugged her and sobbed into her shoulder. She hugged you back and you finally stopped after a while.
“It's ok, (name), it was only a nightmare,” Mikasa said comfortingly. You looked at the raven haired girl, you were reminded of how cleanly a titan ripped her head off and her body fell forward, another tear fell.
“What was it about?” Mikasa asked suddenly. You looked at her in surprise, “what?”
Mikasa gave you a stern stare before you sighed. You explained the field, the lilies, titans, deaths, you trembled through all of it. Mikasa stared at you in surprise.
“How long has this been going on?” She asked. You shrugged.
“Maybe a few weeks, no idea.” You answered. Mikasa glanced at you again before hugging you and climbing back into her bed. You lay on your back and your eyes began to feel heavy, you sighed as sleep took over and nightmares met you once again.

-NEXT MORNING-

At breakfast you sat at your usual table between Eren and Jean to keep them from fighting, Armin sat next to Mikasa, Annie sat next to Reiner and Berthold, Ymir sat next to Krista, and Sasha sat next to Connie. You could barely make out the different conversations going on over all the noise everyone was making; you decided to just eat your food quietly and try to listen...which was hard.
“(Name),” you looked up from your bread to see Armin, “you've been quiet, are you okay?”
You stiffened as memories of your nightmares came back. The titans, your friends, you bit your lip to stop the tears that were threatening to come out.
“Y-Ya, I'm fine...” You answered and quickly finished your food. You stood up, cleaned your tray, and walked out fast.
The tears finally slid down your cheeks when you locked yourself in your room and sat on your bed. You buried your face in your hands and sobbed, why did you have to have these nightmares?! You wouldn't of had them if you hadn't joined the Trainees! You thought it over and made up your mind:
You were going to leave.
