Description
Here is the Railway Series-only character Bear (neé 7101), in his original Rail Blue livery. He debuted in the story "Super Rescue" alongside 199 AKA Spamcan, where both failed and had to be rescued by Henry, himself slightly the worse for wear. Spamcan, due to his attitude and the severity of his breakdown, was sent back to the Other Railway, but Bear was taken to the works and became a permanent member of the railway.Spamcan received a Wooden Railway model (which itself has gone through three forms), but Bear sadly did not, thereby kinda making Spamcan useless as far as story re-enactment goes. So using some wood and glue and paint, and a Battat wooden train car as a base, I have built my own TWR Bear.

My current TWR project is a custom proper Catherine, since the official Catherine is actually The Truck.

Ooh, yikes. Daisy's a bit on the rare side.

Excellent job, If they did make Bear along with D199's first release he would have looked just like this. It reminds me of the Ertl model in a way.

Thank you. I also made 98462 and Jinty, if you're interested

I checked them out, very nice work on them too! I've attempted both of them myself, but didn't put nearly as much effort in. My 98462 was just a regular Gordon with the number scratched off and facial adjustments, and my Jinty was simply Oliver painted black. You went all out modifying the body shapes, funnels, faces and other components, great job!

I've also done City of Truro and The Red Engine, but have yet to photograph them

Very cool, I have no doubt they are of great quality like the other customs I've seen.
