forgive the silly beginner question; when you say this work was done in pencils, does that mean the entire art including the large dark space? When an image is asymmetrical and leaves a giant space of a single color like this one appears to be black, do you use ink or paint to get a wonderful matt and not paper textured space?
I love this image, the movement and the use of colors that still transfer to the eye as white despite being every color of the rainbow, very alive. I keep returning to look. Your art has been a longtime favorite of mine.

Thank you! No, of course that is made on a black cardboard. And white pencil on black cardboard is not as bright as I would like, then I do whiter brush and white acrylic. Also I have drawings where do black background with black acrylic. It's faster, prettier and cheaper)
