This image is interesting. It seems to display the balance between Law and Chaos. That fact that one is not without the other. You cannot have light without dark; nor the latter without the fore. Were it not for light, darkness would have nothing to cover. In opposition, had you not darkness, what palette would light contrast itself upon? The same stands for the balance between Law and Chaos.
Speaking less philisophically... The image is very refined and shows order and yet the chaotic swirl brings contrast to the orderly arrangement. The color is one of my favorite of course, so I find some bias there.
