The back story of this photo is what makes the feeling jump out at me...I can feel the pain that everyone involved with this shoot was experiencing.

This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful images I've seen in awhile. The background, the look on her face, everything. I adore this picture. I read that comments and for a disastrous day, a beautiful work of art imerged.

Although I'm sure others have said this, despite the difficult time you and your model obviously had, this photo is stunning. I was drawn to the thumbnail alone from the expression I saw on the model's face, and I am not disappointed in the larger image. Perhaps it was the adversity that brought out that emotion in her, but she-- and you-- created a riveting photograph. This is absolutely being counted among my favorite photos.
When I first saw the image, I was expecting a heart-wrenching backstory of a woman suffering through loss and/or preparing to throw herself into the ocean, not the story of very real hardship you gave. As usual, your work has not failed to amaze me. I hope you will employ Abby for future shoots as well!

At first sight, I fell in love with this picture. The emotion of sadness is so deeply portrayed on her face and it gives this depth of a story with it. Then I read your author's notes and I'm amazed how well you all did in those conditions. It doesn't show in the picture at all, and that's great talent from both the photographer and the model. Amazing work; definitely among my favorites.

Display of deep thought, even with the stormy weather. She shows emotion, its beautiful. She is so calm and so tranquil, but sorrow sweeps her face as clouds would the horizon on a windy day. I abosulutly love your work.
